Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Tykhese — but everyone calls me Ty.In 2014, a study abroad experience changed my life forever. What started as a single adventure turned into a lifelong obsession with exploring the world.Every destination became a chapter. Every passport stamp became a memory. Every photo became a piece of my story. But I realized something — my travels shouldn’t just live in my camera roll or disappear with time. I wanted to create a way to preserve these moments so that one day my children, my grandchildren, and future generations could see the places I’ve been and the experiences that shaped me.That’s why I created Mylle — a place to capture your adventures, celebrate your journey, and preserve your travel legacy. For the first time, I’m not just documenting my story.I’m creating it.Follow my journey and the building of Mylle:

Overview
Mylle ("we", "us") is a travel journaling app that helps you document your journeys, collect passport stamps, and preserve your memories. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.Information We Collect
Account information: your name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up or log in.
Content you create: photos and videos you upload, journey details, journal entries, letters to your future self, saved places, passport stamps, and adventure collections.
Profile information: your avatar, bio, and home country.
Usage data: basic analytics about how you interact with the app, such as feature usage.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide the journaling, mapping, and memory features of Mylle; to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to display your content back to you across your devices; and to improve the app over time.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, share it with advertisers, or use your photos, videos, or journal entries to train AI models.
Data Storage & Privacy
Your data is stored securely and is private to your account. Other users cannot see your journeys, memories, journal entries, letters, or personal information. Each user's records are isolated through row-level security, so only you can access your own data.
Your Rights & Choices
You can export all of your data at any time from Settings → Export My Data, which downloads your journeys, memories, journal entries, and letters as a JSON file.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. This erases everything across every part of the app and cannot be undone.
Third-Party Services
We use authentication providers (such as Google) when you choose to sign in with them, and cloud infrastructure providers to store your content and run the app. These providers process only what is necessary to deliver the service and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased across all entities within the app.
Children's Privacy
Mylle is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
